Our team members are enrolled in mandatory food safety training which is refreshed annually. Topical food safety tips and reminders are cascaded to our in-unit teams weekly to ensure compliance and a safety-first culture.
Taking Allergens Seriously
We know that allergens are hugely important, which is why we have stringent policies and processes in place that include allergen training. Our production facility is nut-free, ensuring a safe environment for those with nut allergies. We’ve also got strict allergen controls and labelling procedures and an allergen-friendly web ordering system that reflects our commitment to customer safety.
Dedicated Delivery
Our dedicated delivery drivers passionately fulfil their roles, ensuring timely delivery of every child’s lunch. Operating through the night, our garda-vetted drivers use refrigerated van fleets to maintain temperatures at under 5°C, ensuring the freshness and quality of meals delivered daily. When hot meals are delivered the driver will probe a sample pot provided, record the temperature and place the lunches in the fridge until our operative arrives to prepare the meals for heating and serving.

To keep food as safe as a kangaroo in its mother’s pouch, our school lunches are delivered in a KÄNGABOX® thermobox, a brand that has stood for safe transport for ten years. Every lunch is optimally insulated from cold and heat, securely packaged and protected against vibrations.
